Tires With Lift/level

Hey everyone! I am having trouble deciding whether to lift or level my truck. :P I am interested in the rancho quicklift or the 4" lift. I am not against any other brand or higher lift, but Rancho is

what I am most interested in. I have 265/70/17 right now and was wondering what size tires I could go with for both systems? Leveling would be the easiest and cheaper and could always lift the

truck later. But depending on what size tire I can do with the level I might just dish out the money for the lift. Any and all help would be appreciated!!!

Thank you

That hardly seems worth it. I stumbled on a trimming mod on a diesel forum that if you cut and fold parts of the wheel well you can fit bigger tires. I saw it in the 2500/3500 section fender mod. Can we do that too? I haven't had a chance to look at the 1500 to see if it is the same.

With the rancho 4in lift and doing that mod you can likely fit 35in tires as most people state the rancho lift is about 5in all said and done. Right now you have 31.5in tires with a level you go to 33s, it doesn't sound like a lot but it does make a difference in looks especially with a wider wheel with less offset.

I shouldn't have said it was hardly worth. The more I thought about it and stared at my truck 33's would be better looking. I looked at Toyo Open Country M/T the tire sizes I liked were 33.5" and 34.1", but wasn't sure if they would fit with the leveling kit.

33.5 with a level and fender mod is likely possible, I would say 34 prob isn't

You could probably get away with 33.5" on a level. Might rub a smidge. I'm at 33.2" right now on a 2" level and I'm not even close to rubbing. You can rule out a 34" though.

I am still undecided!!! I didn't think that the 34" would fit, but was hoping. I was looking at Superperv's truck in his profile with 33's. Anyway you could post a side pic of your truck? You have 17" wheels like me, so I wanted to see what they looked like wrapped in 33" tires.
