I am running 17x9" HELO MAXX 791 BLACK with 33X12.50X17 NITTO MUD GRAPPLER on my 08 Seirra 1500. I have a a RC 1.25 BL and a ReadyLift 2.25 leveling kit. I am getting a slight rubbing on the outer edge of tire at the rear of the wheel well when I turn sharp. I was thinking maybe replace the leveling kit with a ReadyLift 4" kit to gain an extra inch or two clearance though this is kinda costly? Any ideas for a cheaper cure?

You can tap it with a sledge hammer and make a little room, there is a good post on how to cut some of the metal out also. I'm going to see if I can find it for you.

It rubs on the center bottom of the wheel well where a bolt fastens the wheel well to the metal frame. Tapping with a sledge hammer may end up bending the qtr panel which would cause the door to not seat right. I am interested to see the post as to how to cut some of the metal out. Thanks
