Saw a thread last week on the R&D Headlight Controller. While at their website http://www.truckautoaccessories.com/ I went ahead and also ordered PIAA Super White Headlight bulbs. I think I could have gotten a better price from TBYRNE http://www.tbyrnemotorsports.com/ and supported a preferred vendor at the same time, but didn't look at TBYRNE until after the fact. Anyway, got the package from R&D today. The packing list shows PIAA Super White's for both low and high beam. However, the actual product inclosed was lowbeams > PIAA Xtreme White Plus and the highbeams > PIAA Super White. R&D didn't even offer the Xteme's on their site, so I'm a little confused. Just for the heck of it, I've installed the new PIAA's as is. It's not dark out yet, so I can't judge the difference yet. And, they threw in a really cool PIAA key chain ...hooooohhh.

The R&D Headlight Controller will be installed at a latter date. I trained in electronics repair so I'm sure this will be an easy install. I'm just waiting for a really nice day when I can take my time and enjoy it.

I did have WeatherTech http://www.weathertech.com/ floor mats, but they moved around too much and I didn't like the products carpet coverage. The coverage wasn't enough. I noticed that my left foot was on the carpet during normal driving and the passenger side covered only about 60-70% of what it should. So, after looking around a bit, I settled on Highland Mats (2 piece) and Highland Humpliner http://www.highlandinteractive.com . So far I'm very happy. They don't move as much as the Weathertech mats. They come with a carpet fastener I can use if they do start to move around too much and they have a 100 Year Warranty for whatever that's worth. They also cover the carpet nicely. The Gray color I chose is much lighter than any color grey on my interior, but that's okay, they still look real good. As for the included carpet fastener which I haven't had to use yet, there was only one (1) fastener included but there are two (2) mats. Go figure. Got the mats through JC Whitney http://www.jcwhitney.com . I basically chose the Highland Mats because I wanted a matching hump liner / mat as well.

This week, I also received a Console Tray Liner from Performance Products http://www.performanceproducts.com . Unfortunately, I didn't catch in the thread from this site nor on the product page that this liner is for the bucket / console configuration. I have a bench / fold away console so this Tray Liner did not work for me. Oh well. I did receive a very nice catalog from Performance Products today and will very much enjoy checking it out.

So, those are the little dodads I did this week. Oh yeah, put a "UNITED STATES NAVY" sticker in the back window   :D

Sorry, I've thrown the receipt away. Just take a look at JC Whitney. They may be available elsewhere.

Holy Smoke! That's a nice rig TxDoc! Just checked your pics! One comment on the UPD though. Most people route the hose under the tube because the clearance between the tube and hood liner is really tight with the UPD. Don't know if it makes any difference, just an observation. I routed mine underneath because I didn't want the radiator overflow to heat the intake air even a little bit and the tight clearance of course.
