Actuator Swap

Can I swap out the front thermal actuator on my '89 4x4 with one of the new motorized types? I'm sure I can, was just wondering if the wiring/activation was the same.

My thermal actuator went out last year and I got the new electronic version from the stealer.  I think I paid around $119 for the new part.  It was easy to install, however, I had to run one wire and tie it into a brown wire on the transfer case.  It was a little hard finding the brown wire since they were all coated with mud and the like.  All in all it was an easy swap.  Now the 4x4 engages with no hesitation.

They sell it as two different parts, the actuator and the wiring harness necessary to change over a truck equipped with a thermal actuator, be sure to get both parts.
