Color Matched Interior?

I'm thinking about painting a few of the silver trim pieces in the interior of my truck body color. Im sure others have had this idea in the past and I've been trying to search around and see if anyone posted any pics of their finished product because I'm curious to see how it looks but i can't seem to find any, maybe I'm searching with the wrong words...idk? So does anyone have any pics of their interiors like this? Preferably in Summit white...

oh jeeze, no not at all I was looking through some of those and couldn't believe how some people ruin the interiors of their vehicles and actually think its nice looking. But too each his own i guess.

 

I just plan on doing the silver steering wheel surround, the two big silver door handle pieces, and possibly the glove box handle/trim in color matched Summit White. I think it'll look nice to pull a little bit of the outside into the interior. But if not i always have a second set of the trim pieces to go back to stock if i don't like it.

See if you can find rrjjpp74 he has some interior parts in his painted white. Maybe he can post a few pics.

ONny pic I have at the moment is of the gauge cluster. I did the door handles,glove box gauges. They looked great but since then have changed color thinking of taking them back to white thou in spring.

To each their own but I've never been a fan of painting the interior bits body color. There are only a few vehicles/interiors it might work on.

That is why people pesonalize there trucks for there own taste. Otherwise we would all be driving around in the same identical truck. Some like things and others don't to each there own right?

I don't have any real examples, but in the S10 world it's pretty popular.
