G80 Locker

Has anyone else had problems with their locker not locking up?  Yesterday I had the truck on a hill in the driveway, and from a dead start it would spin the rt rear tire only.  I tried several different applications from just easing the throttle down, to giving it a quick stab.  I'm sure I had the free spinning wheel going at least 10 mph.

I guess I need to make an appointment with the dealer...

I have not had a problem with mine, other than when going around a turn from a stop sign and the inside wheel spinning and not locking up, but that is due to the design of the G80, or at least from what I have read.  Here is a good link to check out, they even have a video of it. If i had the cash I think I would go with the Eaton Elocker.

I found some interesting stuff on their site.

I hope yours isn't bad, but it doesn't sound good. It should have locked.

From a dead start it should have locked up. I know that it "unlocks" at either 25 or 35 (can't remember which) but from a standstill it certainly should have worked.

That's what I thought too...

I regularly check  my lockers locking ablilities on what ever ground I'm on.  I noticed it has some odd things about it.  Mine sometimes won't look up when I'm sliding it around a turn which makes it harder. It won't look up if I'm not going straight some times.  But if I stop I can get it to lock up and burn duals threw thrid gear.. So I guess they are just like females and work sometimes and other times don't...hehe j/k
