hi am new ,did vcim swap having problems help

hi i have a 2008 chevy silverado 2500 hd with a factory bose nav system that i bought and had a dealer activate for me with a tech 11 tool, here is my issue i did a vcim swap to get bluetooth ,i installed a 2010 vcim part #20827036 with a blue tooth antenna ,All my onstar featues still work!! ,when i press button on steering wheel and ask for bluetooth it tells me no speech detected try again .I press blue button and it connects me to onstar which i believe should be not possible ,when i press the blue phone button on mirror it can here me but does not have a blue tooth option ,so i really need to figure this out thanks guys have read alot! of post but could not solve it myself

press the steering wheel button for Onstar ....then say OnStar then after it prompts OnStar ready say "Bluetooth"... should work

i read 45 pages of another thread and read about a guy who had smae issue ,he had to press his blue phonebutton an mirror then press steering wheel button twice and it worked ,i tried it and iam up and working now ,just a apain to press mirrror then steering buttons twiceevery time , going to try search out the 77 vcim
