instrument panel swap

Can you swap a 2005 chevy silverado gauge panel to a cadillac's? i have seen people do it and was wondering if there was some type of connection swap or can it just link together, like just plug in and go. If i have to change connections, what exactly has to get changed?

Plug and play from most GMT-800 trucks.

 

Mileage is on the instrument cluster though, so that will need to be reprogrammed for your truck.

well the motor at 100k is gonna be either rebuilt from the ground up or just swapped for a 6.0 with a supercharger......I do have the 480le tranny from a used truck in a junkyard i gotta fit in....
