How do I program a 2004 GMC Sierra for Driver 1 and Driver 2 From the DIC?

When I start my truck, it shows driver 2. I was using driver 1 fob and I did the programming of fob's 1 and 2, however, when you go back to use the first one or last one programmed it will not work? It seems it isn't keeping it in the memory. The last programming is what it keeps for both fob 1 and 2.
