need help with rim size / offset

i recently bought a set of KM2 285/75/17 after putting in a 2.5" leveling kit, 3" rear block and a 1.5" body lift. the tires are on stock chrom clad rims but being on such thin rims, they make the tires look exceptionally thin, im looking at getting new rims at a local swap meet this spring. Right now these tires dont rub at all, i have tried to get them to rub in all sorts of conditions and they simply wont which makes me think i have a decent amount of room for wider rims.

 

what would be a good offset for new 17" rims and what would be a good width? i think these tires measure at 12" wide. Ive never even looked into purchasing rims so i dont even know what to look for.

With an 8.5" wide wheel, 5.5" of backspacing or +31mm offset would fit perfect

isnt the stock rim 8.5" i was hoping for something wider than stockers so the tires dont look so thin being pulled in from the thinness of the chrome cladders

nevermind, found the stockers are 7.5" and now im finding its difficult to locate rims like this lol
