2009 2500HD Transfer Case Issue?

Just bought a 09 2500HD. No issues on 2x4. When I have it on 4x4 HI, I notice some juttering and faint noises from the transfer case. It happens only on full turns from a stop and at about 1 - 1500 RPM. Once I give her more gas it seems to smooth out. Not sure if this is normal but even on a downward incline on low RPM the truck will literally stop moving once I turn the wheels. It seems like its locking up. Again once I give it more gas it's fine. I plan to take it to the dealer for inspection. Just would like some knowledge from other members if these are familiar issues they have experienced.

Thanks for the reply. I'll try her out on 4x4 again whenever we get another snow storm.

+1. Driveline is binding. That could create a snafu.
