Where is the OAT sensor?

I have installed an aftermarket outside air temp gage on my 93 K1500. I am still getting temps which are too high due to engine heat or road heat. Where did the factory mount the sensor on newer trucks?

Some are installed behind the right-side turn signal. Keeps it away from the radiator
