Tune up

After 100000 miles I figured it might be time for a tune up. New plugs, wires, cap, rotor button, oil change cost me almost 300 bucks with me doing it! The ole beast purrs like a kitten and I went from roughly 12 mpg to 14.64 on regular unleaded. The scary part is, the truck ran great before the tune up.....

The oil change i hope was not part of the tune up but regular maintenance ?

What about some other fluid swaps, diffs, pw steering, brake fluid, coolant? Maybe check belts and other filters.

Coolant flushed about 2 months ago when I changed water pump. Brake fluid last fall when I did brakes. Diffs checked, power steering checked, Trans checked. If it aint broke, leave it alone! No the oil gets changed regularly. Mobil 1 and AC filter.

When you say Diffs checked, you mean changed right? I would change the fluid. Maybe change the power steering fluid also.

 

That is one sweet ride you have there. Something to be very proud of.
