Ok my side mirrors are painted (painted over a yr and a half ago).  Well today i noticed my drivers side took a nice hit (5 chips) and i dont know from what ( i havent driven my truck in 2 days cause i had the flu).  I planned on repainting them this spring and i thought using an air compressor sprayer would make it easier

Anyone know where i could get a small amount of automotive paint (indigo blue?)

Thanks

You should be able to find an automotive paint retailer in the yellow pages under automotive paints.  They should be able to mix up a pint for you.  The only problem is that you would have to buy the thinners and all the stuff that goes along with it.  Or try here Paintscratch.com.  They are great.  I've ordered from them before.  They can custom mix a spray can or any amount you choose.  That way there is no need to clean all the equipment afterwards. :thumb:

If it is only one mirror, why not just prepare it properly, duplicolor it and finish with a clearcoat?  Nothing to lose but about $10 and some time.

I have paint (spray) and clearcoat thats not the problem (i have painted them once already) i just thought i might try my air compressor and see how that goes.  Just wondering where to get paint.  Paintscratch.com does have it but at a price

I made a small repair of a stress crack on the '94 Vette and the smallest quantity of paint I could buy was 1 Qt. plus a catalyst and then another Qt. of clearcoat.  I think the total was about $60 (not sure) so I tried the cheap Duplicolor before I spent the big bucks.
