iGO random reset

Anyone else having issues with iGO randomly resetting and clearing all favorites, settings, ect....? Very annoying

Mine did some sort of reboot the other night but it didn't seem to clear everything. I haven't actually used it since so I can't be sure. Very weird.

Mine did it when I changed the time zone to fix the daylight savings time problem. I reentered a few favorites and changed the time zone again as a test - same response. I decided to leave the time zone settings correct for my area and wait for the next update from Advent to fix the problem.

Mine is doing that too, I've tried restoring the firmware and it's still doing it. Always seems to follow a CAN conflict (XM info not accessible, backlighting not turning on, etc.) as well.

that happened to me only when i tried tweaking the data.zip, but then i had to restore my original backup. hasn't happened since that

You are correct; I had the same problems, and restored my original backup (which I probably shoulda just left alone, anyway) after screwing with the data.zip stuff.

 

Back to normal again, thankfully.

 

Waiting on new firmware update, too regarding the time fix.

Never happened to me, i've changed data.zip. i will keep my eye out for that though.
