lowering on 17X9's - possible tire sizes?

Hey guys, i've been running 305/65r17's on 17X9 inch procomps w/ 4.5" backspacing, my tires are shot and i'm looking at lowering my truck down about 2" lower than stock and getting smaller tires to get some mileage and gearing back for all the city driving i do, anyone have some good suggestions on tires sizes for a setup like that?

if you want smaller than stock height tires 265/65r17 which is about 30.6in

yeah i know 265/70's are the obvious choice, i was just trying to see if there was a wider tire that i could put on that wouldnt be too tall

Well how tall and wide are you looking for and in what kind of tread?
