Camper/5th Wheel wiring harness

I have an '08 3500HD with the "Camper/5th Wheel wiring" option.

 

When new, the hitch installer just tapped into the wiring at the bumper hitch.

 

I now want to replace the connector, and would like to tie into the proper wiring harness. On an older ('03) 2500HD, the wiring was taped in a bundle on the frame near the front of the box on the left side of the truck, but I can't find a similar bundle on my current truck.

 

Does it exist (my "window sticker" lists the option), and if so, where?

It should be there somewhere, it was on my 08.

Where somewhere? Mine is also an '08.

I just looked at mine. I don't remember where it was tied back at originally, but from my bed plug it disappears over the frame near the fuel filler hose. It's likely up over, maybe on the tank. Mine is also a CC.

I'll add.....on my 1/2-ton extended-cab I can see the bundle of wiring between the cab and the bed,its wire-tied to the bed-support bracket.

 

Also the RPO code for the Camper/5th-wheel wiring option is "UY2",might want to make sure its on the SPID label so your not looking for something that isn't there.

Aha! I found it! It's tucked in over the top of the fuel cooler.
