turbo06 Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Every other day my ogm-1 stops playing around the 50th song with my iPod. Sometimes it will just hang sometimes it will reboot. Sometimes I have to hard reset the iPod. It also only show about 80% of the album art. Maybe its my iPod third gen 8gb nano with only 5 gb loaded. Igo primo is slow also. Any ideas.
Velocity12 Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 I use my iPhone to listen to music and I don't have any issues. But the volume is a lower than the radio and CD player. And yes, the igo is definitely too slow. It takes too long to load on start up and when I'm driving it can take up to 5 seconds before it realizes that I did or didn't make a turn.
ap0352 Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 I've had nothing but problems the last few weeks as well. XM keeps getting hung up and I have to reboot the system each time. The nav is way too slow. The lag between changing songs on a cd is horrible and I'm also experiencing a horrible intermittent turn-on thump/pop. Its a shame for a unit that retails for a grand!
Velocity12 Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 I've had intermittent XM issues too. It will get stuck on a certain channel and I can't change it no matter which buttons I use. I usually just switch to a different source and then after a while everything will work again.

I know this may sound like a broken record, but I've come to realize that there are some intermittent weird issues that crop up from time to time that for reasons I can't explain, but 75% of them go away with a master reset (small reset button to the left of the map door). You should try the new firmware when it's released as well (see my update on the new firmware thread). My guess is that it will clear up a lot of your issues.
