Deep pitch squawking from below/behind cab at low speeds

My 2010 regular cab work truck makes an unpleasant squawking or groaning sound from below and behind the cab going over twisting type bumps at low speeds. It doesn't do it going down the road, thank goodness. Sometimes it happens just as you come to a stop and the suspension squats down at the rear as you finally totally stop. Anybody got a fix or does it mean a trip to the dealer? I can't reproduce it stopped in my driveway by jumping up & down on the door sill.

Just went through the same thing with my 2011 crew cab. After a few trips to the dealer it turned out to be the leaf springs. They said they lubed the leaf springs and made sure everything was tight. The noise is gone but its only been a week so time will tell if that was the problem.

mine did it too, wash out the leafs good,I don't beleive in greasing them as that just attracts more dust/dirt which was the cause of the noise in the first place, now I just flush them out with water really good when I wash the truck, and now it's gone.

Thanks for the replies. When you talk about lubing the leaf springs, do you mean the metal/metal surface on the leaves themselves or are you talking about the bushing and shackle? Is it feasible for me to attempt my own lube job? I'll do some searching to see if there's more info on the forum.

I'm not to sure, that's all they told me. When I looked at the springs after I got my truck back it looked like they lubed everything.
