Navigation unit switches sources when not in park

I had a dealer install a used navigation unit in my 2011 Yukon. They said it seemed to automatically switch sources when the disc was in. Well I got the car back and it does shuffle through sources disc or no disc, however, only when it is not in park. In park it acts fine. Did they screw up the vss wire somehow? Any ideas??

I just spoke with a repair facility who said they do not believe it is broken since it functions correctly in park....any ideas anyone???

You sure the dealer programmed it correctly?

For instance, they probably looked at UQA on your tag in the glove box and checked in the GM system, but RPO code UQA is for BOTH Bose and Centerpoint systems, and Centerpoint functions COMPLETELY differently than the Bose system - it has different amp, speakers, etc..

I would have the dealer double-check the programming they applied to the unit...

Walt, thanks, I left a message with my dealer bringing that up. They have a case open with GM engineering to see if there is a fix. I am still waiting on a response. Has anyone else here had this issue??

Update: Tried to reprogram with no luck, so I sent it out to a radio repair shop that my dealer recommended...they said the cd mechanism is broken and causing the problems and I am having it replaced. I hope to get the unit back next week. I will go back to the dealer for the reprogram and they have to reinstall my back up camera. On the first install, they damaged the liftgate, so I made them repaint it, then when they repainted it, they broke the camera. The body shop guys didn't bother telling the service guys until I went outside to get in the car and asked WTF happened to the camera.

Will update when I get the unit back
