1500HD Nascar pickup in work - need ideas

My wife has a 2002 Silverado 1500HD. She is a total Nascar nut so I decided to customize her truck a little. Her are some pics of what I've done so far.

What else do you think would look good?

One of those chekerd flag Whole back window things wouldnt look too bad, I dont know much about them though, I think it goes on like some kind of tint.

nice truck--might put a cover on the bed with a spoiler--that is if it isn't a full time work/ whatever use truck--i thought about a spoiler on mine already--check out my truck pics----just my 2 cents--troyrobo :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Don't get to crazy.....a white truck looks best keeping it simple. A few years ago I would have told you to put all kinds of things on it....but now I love the looks of white trucks with the black trim. What you have done is great... a very cool idea.

You could look at the Earnhardt Monte Carlo and get some ideas from it.

I love modifying trucks, here's what I would do for the Nascar version.

Checkered Flag to cover complete rear window

Hard tonnea cover with rear spoiler

hood pin lock downs with up front

take the black molding off the side to give it a clean all white look

remove all the Chevy emblems, silverado, 1500, LS, etc...

side swept in front of the rear tire exhaust by gibson. Gibson Super Truck Exhaust.

black nascar rims with a set of BFG's

Remove the small Winner's circle decal from under the Nascar logo on the back of the truck. I think it's distracting. too much clutter.

That should do it, let me see what that looks like and we'll go from there. I would start with removing the molding on the doors and the emblems, that is free. the get the exhaust...go on from there.

Thanks gang, lots of good recommendations here. The Gibson Exhaust and a high flow intake system have been on my list for a while. Definitly gotta get bigger tires too. The stock Chevy tires are so wimpy.

Never thought of the hood pins but that sounds cool too. I think I will order the checkered flag window thingy today. The only one I may or may not do is the hard tonnea cover. My wife and I tend to use the bed a lot.
