Truck wouldn't start.....

I would go to start the truck, and it would crank a really long time, when it would finally start, it would chug real bad, and finally smooth out.  So I pop the hood, and remove the vacuum line to the regulator, and its toast.   So, $104.92 later, the truck starts fine.  Just wondering if anybody else has had his problem.

My fuel pressure regulator was replaced under warranty with 32,000 miles. My truck was doing the same think as yours, but only when hot.

Its got 58,000 miles.

My regulator went out at 52,000 while towing my 30 ft camper down the pa turnpike, what a long ride home, anyway they put one in and it cost about 100 bucks, I have no more warranty, so it was on me, the truck would start fine cold, but barely start when hot, and power was a way down, it is fine now, but I think I've seen the adjustable regulator in summit for like 50 -60 bucks, looks like it would fit our trucks, and you may get more power and performance, anybody know anything on that??
