Onstar Directions on Radio

Hello. I noticed my uncles 2004 envoy has the directions and street names appear on his radio when using onstar. My 2007 Sierra doesn't seem to do this. Do I have to enable this or is it not available? I've heard some people can get I on their DIC as well. Thanks!

I'm not sure on the 04 model but on my 11 if I push the "i" button on the radio it changes the display from the radio number to the song and station to directions. If you stop and turn the truck off when you restart it you need to push the button again to get back to where it was, you can also preview your route and even go replay the last direction given, incase you are on the phone when you should be turning.

No way the 2004 OnStar system can support that. It was only added in like 2010.
