I'm trying to find a 6ply tire to go on my leveled 2010 sierra. I want an on off road tire that isn't to loud. I might switch from a 17in rim to an 18in rim. All I'm finding is 10ply tires when I search 275 and 285's.

I'm running LT275/65R18 "C" 6 ply Goodyear Wrangler AT/S's,Love them!

I've run both LT265/70R17 and LT265/75R16 Wrangler AT/S's on my two previous trucks as well....quiet,great traction, great wear!

its because most people want a 10 ply tire for towing abilities. im pretty sure a 6ply C rating is lower than what comes on it stock so make sure you get something that will be rated for the weight of the truck and whatever you use the truck for.

I run 275/60/18 Cooper Discoverer AT3's on my 2010 and LT265/70/17 E rated on my 08. I can tell you that there is a significant difference in weight of the tires. Very noticable mounting them side by side.

Where are you looking that you can't find the tire sizes you want?
