2003 Sierra Z71 155k

I've got a 2003 Sierra 4x4 with 155k on the clock. About a month ago I replaced the driver"s side wheel bearing because the ABS was kicking every time I pressed the brakes. Now I have a new problem. I have a strange grinding sound coming from the front end. It happends at high ways speeds 40-80 only while turning left. The sound does increase/ decrease with changes in speed. I tried to replicate it in a parking lot with no success. I even put it in 4WH and tried full lock circles and got nothing.

It sounds like a grinding noise, not a clicking. I'm guessing its the passenger side wheel bearing. I looks like my seals are shot on the transfer case front diff. Its a bit damp where the half shafts connect.

By Transfer Case do you mean Differential? The transfer case in the 4WD gear box that mounts to the back of the transmission. The differential is what the CV shafts go into. Did you check the differential fluid level? If the differential has been run dry for a period of time it can make a grinding noise. Could also be the wheel bearing as you suggested.

Sorry, yes I ment front diff. I haven't checked the fluid level yet. My wife usually drives it and she said "its making a funny noise, you drive it." I will jack the front end up and shake the front wheel and check the diff fluid.
