IMO that's not a bad deal, but why in the world would you want the stock radio?

I have an AVH-P4400UB double din, going to add steering wheel controls. When I do I am going to have a stock stereo in so I can verify it works before having my stereo shop do the retention kit for my pioneer. I ditched my stocker 4 years ago

i'll have to look at it, but if my memeory serves me right it is a 03 or 04. we wrote what it came out of with a paint marker. i use to reman/re body roll overs and had access to all kinds of factory goodies. Still would if i was local as i am still great friends with the owner. i am in florida, he is in Oklahoma.

From what I've read 04-07 will work. 02-03 won't.

makes sense, 04 is when they went double din on the full sized trucks with steering wheel controls right?

Full size was 03 when they did the body updates

i remember doing a re-body with an 05 body, i was so pissed i had to weld extra brackets on the frame for the upgraded abs plug and egr lines on the manifold and intake and and swap out the engine harness. I spent the whole day finding the crap i needed. i did get a nice little bonus for making it work though. He was freaking out when he found out the body was no compatable wih the frame.

I'm kinda pissed my leather seats won't work because they are from an 02
