My silverado classic 5.3 with 132,000 miles is starting to make a clackity(rattling) sound when I accelerate. After I get past 35 miles on the speedometer it stops. The sound also speeds up when I do a hard acceleration. I don't know exactly where its coming from. First I could swear it was coming from the rear passenger side by the exhuast now today it wounds like its coming from the driver side at the motor. I don't know what it could be.

See if you can duplicate it in the driveway somehow with someone standing next to the truck. If you can't figure it out you gotta be more specific on here lol

definatley sounds like some sort of exhaust leak

My truck does not make the sound when it's in park. I finally pinpointed the sound and it's some where around the gas tank area.

It was a bad u-joint. Got the drive shaft off, heated it up and knocked it out. Put a new one , runs better. No unfamiliar noises now !!!!!!!! ;p
