OGM1: Keep the factory USB port

Nice I was jus about to do a write up on this topic... I'll just post pictures. Mine is slightly different... I used the male mini USB end that goes to back of the stereo...

I was doing an amp install so I had to go to the back of the ogm1 anyhow.

That's the OEM mini USB male cable

You need a female mini USB to make USB adapter

I added an extension so it can reach my glove box

Everything works. Now waiting on my stuff for iPhone 5 video out.

What happens if you plug say two iphones in at the same time. Will one get recognized and play and the other simply charge? Will neither play? Does the second one plugged in stop the first one? I will be hopefully making some cables to accommodate multiple points connectivity but ultimately Id like every port to be able to charge at the same time.

Did this mod this past Wednesday, works great. Had a spare cable a bought 4 port hub from altex.
