Tips for replacing rear blocks

My 3 inch rear blocks should be here in a few days. I figure the install is pretty simple I'm just wondering if any of you know of some tricks to make the install that much easier.

Its pretty straight forward.. just did mine a few weeks ago. Put 2" blocks in. As long as you have the truck up on jack stands, lower the axle enough to slide the blocks right in. An extra set of hands will help out a ton. I had to lift up on the leaf springs a bit while my buddy got the blocks to sit right. They will line up perfect once you re install the new ubolts.

Its pretty easy. How i did it was, loosen the u-bolt nuts, lift the vehicle by the frame to take the weight off the axle, remove u-bolt nuts and u-bolts one side at a time then slide out the blocks. Throw your new blocks and new u-bolts in and tighten, then do the other side. Its fairly easy.
