Looking at new trucks

Looking at new trucks and wanted some feedback from all of you experts out there. I like the LTZ or SLT trucks but have noticed that they are getting weird with all of the incentives. I currently have a 2010 Tahoe LT 4x4 with 43k on it that I would trade. The best trade offer I have received was 30k. I usually only keep vehicles for 3 years so I am looking at the best bang for the buck/resale. The All-Star editions and special editions seem to have the best incentives while the top level trucks have the lowest. Anyone know why they are doing it this way and if you think the incentives will get better?

they usually put the best incentives on the slowest movers. I think that they'll get better if there is a positive response to the 2014 unveil in December. If it looks to be a hit, they'll probably have great incentives on '12's and '13's next year in order to move them out. If the response isn't very positive, people will be grabbing up the current 900 platforms, incentives or not. You just missed truck month in October, zero percent and something like 8 grand allowance...

the incentives have actually gotten better. The 8k was for an extended cab with all star at 5500 + Trade in allowance at 1000 + the all star discount that is built into the sticker at $1500. They just bumped everything up 1k this week. and it was 0% or the incentives. I disagree with the comment about the slowest movers though as the highest volume seller are the SLE and LT. The All Star edition only adds things that should be standard anyway like the 5.3, trailering package and steering wheel controls.
