Thanks for the compliments everyone. I love it so far, already gotten several compliments on it around town.

 

Any mods in the near future?

 

 

He has alot of it done already. Tint, tow mirrors, tires, exhaust, and level. Its got Cognito UCA's, Bilsteins up front, new 295/70/17 Nitto Trails, 5% tint on fronts and eyebrow, EFI Live with economy tune (also gave me DSP5 swtich uninstalled), and a 5" exhaust already.

 

My plans are get a CTS Insight with EGT probe for monitoring temperatures, Get EFI Live economy / towing tune from Idaho Rob, EGR block plate (don't think its been done yet), PCV reroute, and Trans go Jr. kit, maybe a low-pro tool box or one that sits all the way in the bed so it doesn't show. Gonna just dink and dunk on those till I knock them all out.

 

The LBZ's are the ones to hold on to, the last motors before the dpf regen crap became the standard.

 

 

Exactly, looked at several 2008-2009 GMC Duramax's, but ultimately decided to stay away from the emission stuff. Couldn't be happier and this one was better on the wallet.
