07 GMC Sierra 6.0L Max (shutting off the V4) Iowa, Oskaloosa

Hey Guys, I'm new to the forum and new to the truck performance thing also. To start I have a 07 GMC Sierra 6.0L Max with 53,000 miles. It has a Edge Evolution Programer, cold air intake, and Flowmaster exhaust, 2in lift with oversized wheels and tires. My question is how do I shut my V4 off? Can it be done with my Edge? This has probably been brought up a 100 times I know but this is driving me nuts! Please help. Thanks Jody Oskaloosa Iowa.
