Need Opinions on Aftermarket stereo & speakers

My factory cd player quit, So im looking to put in a decent cd player.. Im not looking for bottom of the line..

but dont need competition or top of the line stuff either.. I do need 3 outputs, And the interior speakers im gonna pwr by a basic amp, So i dont know what direction i wanna go in.. I never was really into the stereo as much as some are.. I have two 12,s with an amp under the rear seat that will stay, So again its just the head unit,

amp, and speakers i need some input on, Thanks guys...

Go to an electronics store where they have a bunch of units and see which controls you like the best. The units I was looking at were Alpine and Pioneer in the $140-$180 range and all really nice.

I love my Pioneer AVH-P4400BH double din screen and my Polk DXi speakers. 6.5" components up front, 4" in the back

I just installed the Pioneer AVH-X2500BT in my 08 Silverado and LOVE IT!!!! Got it for less than $300 from Amazon and it is the best! (I like it more than the AVIC X920BT That is in my Mustang...)
