Tow/Haul Switch problem on 2002 Suburban

2002 Suburban LT Autoride 4x4 5.3. When i shift from park to drive the tow haul light comes on sporadically. I can jiggle the shifter and it goes off. The tow/haul featuremay suddenly come on or if i try to activate it wont come on. Is there a fuse to de-activate? Replace swith lever?

Not sure if its what's causing your problem but I seen the orange wire break that goes into the column.

Thanks for your response. I may have to pull down the column cover and take a look.

Take the column cover down and I am sure you will find a broken orange wire.

You are all correct, dropped the bottom half of column, there it was severed orange wire. spliced new wire, good to go.
