air bag light

2002 2500hd, the light on the dash came on and stayed on. i had it scanned at a private shop and they said it was a senson but didnt know where it was or anything about replacement. where is the sensor located and is replacement plug and play? part number ? thanks for any help.

yes it is plug and play ...however if a shop does not have access to service information ,,they are full of crap !!!!

 

what happens if you go ahead and replace the sensor and it does not repair the complaint ,,,,,? who is at fault ??

 

can you go back and get a refund on the diagnoses? i sure hope so

 

how did they diagnose it without service info ???? ......they didnt thats how....
