2012 gmc sierra all-terrain didn't come with a factory usb port, is there a way to install a factory one, or do u have to buy a whole new radio?

If your radio has a usb port in the back then all you have to do is buy the cable, and the usb port. GMpartsdirect sells them for cheap but they gouge you on shipping. 20983937 and 20944422 are the part numbers for the usb port and the receptacle that goes in the cigeratte lighter to convert the cig port to usb, found this on ebay for 33.00 with free shipping. 22829189 is the part number for the cable, found this on jegs for $20 with shipping.

If its not on your radio its inside the center console. Should be at the right rear inside of your center console.

If you have the All Terrain you should have the USB in the console as previously mentioned.

I have an ogm-1 in my truck this is on my one friends buddys truck. We pulled the radio out and there is no cable for usb on the back of the radio.

I find it surprising that an All Terrain doesn't have USB. The plug on the back is micro USB if memory serves and it does have a locking clip so it doesn't look standard.

I thought it was the mini-b style

You might be right. I swapped the radio over a year ago and right now I'm about 7000 miles away from it so I can't check. Haha

I own a '12 Sierra All Terrain and The USB is in the center consol. It is a Micro USB input on the back of the radio as well. There is also a male-female USB connection under the drink tray. Used that with a splitter to keep my factory USB active when I installed the OGM-1.
