Tailgate Emblem

Does anyone wish the Silverado HD had some kind of different emblem on the tailgate? Instead of just saying Silverado, I wish it said Silverado HD. I thought about taking a 2500HD emblem that are on the doors and cutting the HD part off and putting it behind the Silverado part on my tailgate. I wonder if it would look funny or if I could even get a clean cut on the 2500HD emblem?

I did that exactly.   friend of mine took all his emblems off and i took one and cut the HD off and sanded it and painted the sanded area and stuck it on.....  looks factory

I took off the silverado and put on the 2500HD tag in its place about two years ago..looks better to me

Don't have the part # , but their always being sold on eBay.
