Ok, to start off I got the engine light on saying my knock sensor in bank 1 is getting low voltage so it's running like crap, then I just developed the starting problem as in I have to turn it over ATLEAST twice to start it, any advice on what the Hellz causing it?

I agree you will need a set of sensors, that will not cause your starting concern tho. I would be looking at fuel pressure and also check the fuel pressure regulator. Pull the vaccum line off and look for evidence of fuel in the vaccum line if I remember correctly this used to happen to these often. I remember changing them on trucks don't remember if it was 5.3 or 6.0 or both

Try "priming" the system. Basically turn the key but don't turn it start, let all the bells and lights come on, wait about 10 seconds then turn the ignition full lock so it starts. This helps to build the fuel pressure to the proper level. Others have to do this for two "cycles" and on the second time they turn the key all the way. Hope this helps. As for the sensor, like others have stated gotta replace it.

I didn't have your knock sensor problem, but I did have the problem of having to attempt at least twice for the engine to start. It turned out that my fuel pump was faulty. That was about 5 years ago, and I've had no other issues since then, always starts on first attempt. I have a 2003 1500 Silverado HD.

Try changing out your fuel filter 1st. Then check your fuel pressure regulator 1st thing one morning. If there is fuel present when you pull the hose off, it needs to be replaced.

When you change out the knock sensor, do BOTH & replace the small wiring harness under that intake too. Use dielectric grease at all the connections too!!!

Good luck...
