To Tow/Haul or not to Tow/Haul

I tow ~7000lbs daily and really only need it when I have 2 ton extra (3500HD) in the cargo and need to go uphill.

I often use tow haul even when I'm not towing anything, especially in hills or mountains. The truck is so much more responsive and driveability is improved.

Never use it... don't find it useful but then I am tuned on all 3 anyway lol. The button quit working over a year ago in my one truck and I couldn't care less. Wire isn't visibly broken where I can see it so screw it.

It seems I only use my tow haul when I feel like hot roddin around. I have a 30' aluminum jet boat with a cummins diesel it weighs close to 8000 lbs its on a king triple axle trailer I tow it in and out of the water back and forth to my shop around 12 miles and the truck handles just fine. Transmission doesn't work to hard granite I am only driving 35-40 mph. Love the wy it tows with my 4l80e

I rarely use tow haul. The main time I use it is when towing a tractor, which puts a good bit of weight behind me. If you find that the truck is constantly struggling then try it. If it feels like a bit much then turn it back off
