Integrated Brake Controller - retrofit?

I have a 9300 pound tandem axle toy hauler with electric brakes. The dodge has a P2 my sierra has a P3. Both worked. I prefer the P3. First tried it Wednesday. The P3 is easy to use and adjust. It can also save multiple trailer settings

So a P3 is convenient for a trailer whose load would significantly vary in weight

P2 can work with E/H brakes

IQ is for electric only.

In a nutshell?

In a nutshell buy the P3 and be happy. It will do everything you want plus some. You change trucks it goes with you. The P2 and P3 only had like a $20 price difference. I wouldn't get the IQ. Also the P3 can do Electric or Hydraulic brakes. I don't think the P2 can

  Techron is a fuel injection cleaner and my point is it won't help prevent carbon build up on your intake valves. I am not aware of any product that can prevent carbon build up on a DI engine.

  Yes I read that as well on their website and its all in how its interpreted for one thing and I believe the GM spec itself does not call for enough volume to bring the oil level up to the bottom of the factory covers fill/level port which also is puzzling. Banks are also bouncing between two different truck makes in the instructions since both the Ram and the GM use AAM axles with those instructions. The problem with not seeing the oil in the window is that one has no idea where the actual level is. Certainly anyone else on here reading this and having worked with the banks covers should chime in as they may have more information to provide. I am just simply concerned because I don't want to see someone underfill the diff as its not just the diff that is critical to lubrication, its the wheel end bearings. The dealership I bought my truck from had two HD pickups a while back have their rear wheel bearings fail because of being too severely underfilled at the factory and no one had checked and topped them off at the dealer but luckily warranty paid for a whole new complete axle housing as it mangled the axle housing spindles when the bearings failed and sent metal throughout the whole diff.

  No, not yet. Hoping I'll have something a little more definitive in the next day or 2. They seemed to be very confident they can order it. I do have some understanding of the whole allocations and restraints stuff so we'll see. I think this is what I'm looking for. 3000 ORDER ACCEPTED BY PRODUCTION CONTROL

  Then you haven't read your book. It also says check every 400 miles. If you need to add multiple quarts in that distance then reading the stick isn't the issue. Put the two together and it will make sense. Read it all.

  Following up on my topic, I put an O2 sensor in it which seems to have got rid of all the b2s1 codes (I ended up having multiple codes). Next I’ll try to figure out the P0011 but I might focus on exhaust manifolds first, they’re getting pretty rusty. I’m hoping this thread will help someone in the future.
