Seen an infomercial about the product and am unsure if this product is just a high gloss snake oil or actually works in restoring faded plastics and pretty much any other thing on your vehicle. Anyone use this stuff before?

i had someone at work try it and he said it worked pretty well. he said its like a silicone coating that goes over your plastic

Think that worries me is if you notice he's wearing gloves to apply it. On the outside trim that's not a big deal, but he then wipes the door panels of that honda. If you need gloves to apply, then I don't think you'd want that stuff on your hands went opening and closing the doors.

Have you tried "Back to black" by megures I think? Heard pretty good sutt from that.

I use both the mothers "back to black" and poor boys trim restorer http://poorboysworld.com/trim-restorer.htm griots also makes a product I use

The poor boys is great but you can't use it on plastics above body panels because its a bit greasy. I use it for all my bumper panels. The griors product does not run so I use for my hood panels and mirrors. Griots is good cause it has a uv protectant in it
