August 19th order dates for Denali's

Hi Guys, I've been told that the first order date for the Denali's and other 6.2 units in Canada is August 19, with EPA and stats being availabe shortly before that date

Thanks for your post Pendragon...I was just about to open a new thread with the question: What do you guys think will be released to order first, the High Country or the Denali? The vibes I am getting from my local dealers tell me the High Country may be available for ordering first. I have good friends at the Chevy dealer and at the GMC dealer. Based on the vibes I am getting from both, I believe the High Country may come first, although I am sure it won't be much time between them, either way. My interest is...I am going to order the first one that comes available. I am getting tired of waiting and patience is not one of my strong suits!

 

If the August 19 date is right, that's not long off. I sure hope that becomes reality. Thanks again Pendragon, at least that's something to hang my hat on for a few more weeks.

double cabs are starting now ( still not on the lots) , single cabs next, then all the 6.2 stuff, High country, Denali. I wouldn't expect to see a 6.2 or Denali on the lots until at least October.

That still sounds in sync with what Pendragon said. The first order date being Aug. 19 would put it on the lot around Oct. 19th. Right now, if I could just see the order info and the options packages for the High Country or Denali, I would feel like I was making progress. Both of you guys are still giving me hope!

I'm told that the dealers quickspecs are uploaded every Thursday so specs might be up on the 15th, having said that the Canadian web site has been showing order options for the 6.2 for weeks but the numbers aren't correct (they show a zero cost to go from 5.3 to 6.2 when the cost will actually be around $1800)

I too but just showed a total price for all the options but did not break down the pricing on the options I selected.Just a total price.I still believe that it will be line with the out going 6.2L option.

2020 is current optional price,then factor in the current discount of around 9000.00 dallors a out going 6.2L vortec would be around 1800.00 dallors. GM press announcement was that "we are picking up from our current model pricing for the 2014 chevy silverado.
