One of my friends (different one) just bought a hail damaged 2004 Jetta, GLS package I think. The thing is LOADED. Heated leather, sunroof (slides or vents), 1.8 Turbo, Monsoon sound with wheel controls (awesome stereo for an economy car). It's auto, but still has some go. Rides on 16" alloys. The paint is a sweet gray metallic fleck. It's actually fun to drive, with the windows down you can easily hear the turbo. I advised he have a shop check out a few things and do some maintenance. They changed ALL fluids and checked out the timing belt and tensioner (problem area, most people neglect it). The tensioner was about to go, so it's a good thing they changed it.

 

PS: Congrats on the ND win, awesome showing of tailgaters too.

I'll have to start looking around for one of these things, hopefully someone will have one in the area so I can give it a test drive. With that 1.8 turbo they have to get ridiculously good gas mileage too.

 

And thanks man! It was a big win for us, and I heard we showed off our fan base pretty well down there! People aren't giving you guys enough credit though, you're a good team but with new players you still have some things to work out. I have a feeling you'll beat ULL big this week.
