exhaust size question

ive been watching a bunch of exhaust videos on youtube, im lookin for a dual exhaust setup for my 2011 sierra, 5.3 and i found one i really liked it is the borla 40842s muffler, the only thing is it only comes in 2.5 inch inlet/outlet, would that be to small to neck down the stock pipe to 2.5 to run through this muffler and the use a y pipe at the end for dual?

Give MBRP a look. I have both MBRP and Borla on my trucks and they sound great. I prefer the MBRP, it costs less and sounds beter. I run singles though but the duals sound even better.

I will agree with Justin. I took his advice. I had the same "level" so to speak on my 04. It is the mid range XP series. It sounds great, was less than $500 on Amazon, and no drone. I had the dual side exit from them. I went to Corsa because 6.0's are dual to the muffler and the only one I could get from MBRP was for a 2500 HD.
