Mag Hytec Transmission Pan.....?

Recommended Posts

Posted

Has anyone ever used one of these pans? They are a bit pricey at about $250 but they hold 3 more quarts of fluid over the stock pan. My truck has 43000 on it and I want to drop the pan and change the filter. With all the extra abuse my tranny sees now that I have my supercharger on, I think it couldn't hurt to have some extra cooling capacity. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

We use mag-hytec products in my shop. Very high quality, we install them a lot on allisons and dodge transmissions. Everyone is always satisfied with them, most report a 20*-30* temp drop at operating temp with just the pan upgrade. Some good synthetic trans fluid would also do you good, i prefer redline.
