has anyone used the BWD knock sensors ? they are more than Delphi but less than ac delco

Posted

Never used them. I'd stick with ACD or Delphi if it were me. Some have reported problems with BW parts like O2 sensors. Replace the wire harness as well

I used them when I changed mine a year ago... Now #2 just failed. Stick with OEM or you will wish you would have as you will have to pull the intake again. Just one of those times where OEM really is better. Don't forget to do the silicone thing around the new harness to prevent water from coming in.

Yeah I'd stick with AC Delco. I just changed my knock sensors/harness out and originally used an aftermarket harness and sensors, but less than a week later my SES was back on and sure enough both sensors showed to be bad. Put AC Delco sensors and a GM harness on it and haven't had an issue since.

That's deadly. I have the 332 code as well so will be doing them both with new harness; I'm anticipating things to run a little smoother...
