2007 GMT900 Silverado

I have a weird issue. My headlights wont shut off. Tried turning the knob to off manually and the interiors go out but the headlights stay on. The truck is turned off completely, hit the remote to lock it and the never turn off. Any one heard of/ experienced this/ have any idea? Tried doing a search but didn't find anything that matched with this issue.

out of town so the wife took it to the dealership today. They said there is a short in the fuse box, they said they'll need to order a whole new one and replace it for $450. Wife called a local independent shop and they are pretty sure they can find the short and fix it in a few hrs at $75 an hour. So for now I told her to go the cheaper route and have the local shop fix it.

Found out that the dealership took the fuse box apart yesterday and found mouse poop in it. The truck has been in and out of storage for the past 1.5 yrs as I have been in school out of the country. So some dang mouse chewed on the box, ugh. The dealer said they have never had a rebuilt one work good after the rebuild so he suggests getting the new block. But he disabled the area that was locking out the manual shut off, so for now just have to shut off the lights manually when you leave the truck. Out of town for a few more weeks so I guess i'll just let it go for now until I get home and can look at it and talk to a few people too.

I have the same issue but I have pulled my fuse box up and not found any damage or evidence of rodents. I've changed the knob that manually shuts them off and still the same result. They only go off if I pull the fuses. Is there anywhere else I could check?

They're never ever off?

I'm pretty sure the headlights are ground side switched on the GMT900 trucks (they definitely are on the GMT800s). If that's the case a short to ground can cause an always on scenario. You've checked the function of the relays too, right?
