Service Airbag and Truck Dies plus other electrical issues

I know this has been posted about but there were not any real answers to the problem that I could find. I have an 07 NBS 6.0 4x4. Several times recently the truck dies right after you start it and then the service airbag message comes up. After that, the truck starts normally and runs fine.

 

Possibly related, the service traction and service stabilitrack message seems to be popping up a lot recently, always while driving down the highway. Cruise control works sometimes and sometimes doesn't. Found the battery dead one day for no apparent reason, and after jumping it the battery has been fine ever since. Any ideas on what to check, assuming all or some of this is part of the same problem?

wow that's a lot of seemingly unrelated systems going off at once... any CEL? maybe run it by a parts store and get a free scan to put you in a direction to go? if all else fails I guess there's the Dealer....

Unfortunately there are no codes... The main issue that bothers me is the truck dying repeatedly with the service airbag warning. That has come up forums that I've read, but I've never seen a resolution.

I just had similar problems with the air bag message. Turns out the SRS module located on drivers side under the carpet had got water in it due to the padding wicking it from wherever it came from. $707 later it got fixed. For the cruise control I would bet it is the brake switch which is easy and cheap to fix.

you need to have it scanned first so there is no guessing ,,,,cruise could be disabled because of TCS tripping a code ,,,SRS needs to be scanned also
