Wheels for my '08 4x4 - offsets

So I'm about ready to buy new wheels for my '08 as it's also new tires time. I have been looking for information about workable offsets and still haven't found the "right" answers.

I have found a set of American Racing AR708's in 18x9 with a +20mm offset and 5.79" backspace. From what I did find is that the OEM wheel has a +31mm offset. I will be buying the same size tires (most likely Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo's in 265/65-18) and I don't want to install a leveling kit.

Will this combo cause any fitment/rubbing issues? Looks like the offset difference is about a half-inch.

  It's pretty amazing the reach that First Brands had. This is the first time I've seen "out of stock" on a few different sites for popular blue AC Delco filters. Inventory on the remaining ones has been hit or miss. Supposedly GM's new supplier(s) are ramping up production and popular filter "new supplier" filter models now have A/B/C designations depending on the product line and supplier? Like PF66A, PF66B, PF66C. A is their silver/advantage (budget, white filter/box) line, B is AC Delco Gold (black filter/box), and C is OE/Genuine GM (blue). Nothing like muddying the waters for the DIY mechanics.

  You are correct - I was mistaken. I'll have to see on my neighbors truck. You're probably right, but it does look rather short.

  I haven’t gotten the engine broken down yet to determine exactly but I do know the cam is done and there was misfire in 2 cylinders. While driving; check engine light blinking, stabilitrak flashing on and off and the oil PSI jumped to around 55-60 PSI. This of course after I had to deal with the 8L90 shudder that the dealer couldn’t figure out so I fixed that. If I keep the truck a built L8T is replacing the L86. The DoD/AFM kills these engines.
