Getting new drums, any prep before installation?

I was getting some noise from my brakes so I checked the rears and noticed that the shoes had some grooves in them. They are AC Delco Durastops so I'm going to replace them with the OEM shoes and getting new drums at the same time. The drums have some slight grooves and ridges so I'm just going to replace them instead of having them machined.

Do I need to do anything to the drums before I put them on? Do I need to rough up the friction surface with some sandpaper first?
